Jim Matejcek is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ , serves as President and Chief Compliance Officer of Everest Financial Group, LLC. and is a Registered Representative ofOsaic Wealth, Inc.Jim’s view is that overall financial planning incorporates the use of attorneys and CPA’s in a coordinated effort to pursue the optimum outcome given the client’s objectives. Over the past 30 years, this integrated application of tax, legal and financial solutions has been the approach that Jim has successfully utilized in assisting his clients in reaching their financial goals. Jim Matejcek, CFP®, is committed to competent and ethical behavior when providing financial planning. Individuals certified by the CFP Board have taken the extra step to demonstrate their professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes demanding education, examination, experience and ethical requirements. Jim’s enthusiasm to learn earned him a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in May of 2006 with a concentration in financial services. In February of 1997, Jim earned his CFP designation which compliments his undergraduate degree in Business, with a concentration in Individual Financial Planning that he earned from Mankato State University in March of 1992. Jim and his wife, Kristin, reside in Plymouth, MN with their two Bichons, Rudy and Mimi. On the weekends you can find him spending time with his family and engaging in various outdoor activities including walking his dogs, snow shoeing and skiing, biking, hiking and golf. Jim and Kristin also enjoy attending and supporting the amazingly diverse arts community in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
